Obituary  for David Alphonso Foster

​David was born in Griffin, GA to Clarence and Annie Lou Foster. He peacefully passed away at the Ann Arbor VA Hospital in Michigan surrounded by loved ones on August 16th. David came from humble beginnings in a home full of love. After graduating high school, David joined the United States Air Force and inspired others to pursue their careers and goals. After retiring from the Air Force, David grew to be a steadfast and dedicated member of his community, especially esteemed among his fellow veterans. A proud veteran himself, he devoted considerable time and effort to helping other veterans find meaningful employment, offering both guidance and compassion to those transitioning from military to civilian life.

David is survived by his wife Lillie Foster, Son, Kenny (Barbara) daughters, Dawn (Corey) and Danielle (Zach) Nephew Armand (Leslie). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

His final resting place is at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, WA
