Obituary

Davven was a light that shined even in the darkest of times. He is survived by his wife (shawnte’) , his 3 children (Deaunte’ 18, Kashmir 17, & Santana 2), his sister Desmonette, his Nephew DeAudre, as well as his mother Deidre & father Charles.

He was a firm believer in God, he read his faith to faith, daily bread & proverbs every day. He loved sports, especially basketball. He played every chance he got. He loved music and had a song for every moment. He loved with everything in him, and would always go out of his way to be there for anybody he felt needed a hand.

His smile was beautiful, his laugh contagious, his energy radiated and when he talked , you couldn’t help but listen.

He loved his mother, always referring to her as his first black queen. His “little big sis” was his first best friend. His Nephew being “his first son” with their age gap, His children were his pride and joy, and his wife was the love of his life. To know him was to love him and he was loved by an entire community as well as his family.

May his early departure lead him to those lost before him and those he left find peace in his eternal and unconditional love. Never letting his memory fade.
