Desiree L. Griffin

Dez was born in Tacoma, Washington, September 7, 1977 at Tacoma General Hospital. She is born to Doretha Gaye and Leonard Griffin. Dez father passed on in 2017. Dez is survived by her mother Doretha Gaye, her siblings Joyce Courtney, Lardell Courtney, and Perry Griffin. Her beautiful daughters Tayja Edge age 21  and Tayonna Edge age 16 and her grandchild.However, brother Joey Courtney passed on in 2008.

She attended Foss High School. The thing Dez loved the most was being a mother to her daughters. Dez was blessed with granddaughter Livelia age 3.

Dez enjoyed working alongside her mother as a housekeeper at Sea- Tac Comfort Inn. Dez loved dancing, singing, being around family and friends But most of all BINGO.

She was one of the most humble, genuine, loyal and honest person one would ever meet.

Dez will truly be missed be her dearest family and friends.

Absent in the body, but always present in the heart and mind.
