Ernest Rowe Jr. was born on Sunday, January 10, 1954, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Ernest Sr. and Norma (Thomas) Rowe. Affectionately known as Ernie, he was a true music lover, especially fond of listening to the Temptations. Ernie cherished peaceful moments by the lake and was always ready to entertain friends with his warm hospitality—he could make a friend anywhere.

Known for his sharp, classic style, Ernie never wore tennis shoes and always dressed to impress. He came from a proud family tradition of military service and followed in their footsteps by joining the Navy at just 16 years old in 1969. That same year, he met his future wife, Lillie, who was 14 at the time. After completing his military service, Ernie reunited with Lillie in 1986 when he visited his grandmother and father in Tacoma, Washington. He decided to stay, and after four years of dating, they married in 1990.

Ernie will be forever missed and always in our hearts. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Rowe Sr. (d.1994 Tacoma, WA), Norma (Thomas) Rowe (d. 2004 Cleveland, OH).

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 35 Years, Lillie Mae Rowe. Two sons, Kevin and Keyshawn. One sister Akiko Shima and host of other relatives.
