Henrietta Swan-Price was born in Houston, Texas on June 11, 1938, to the union of her late parents Mr. Henry Coy Swan and Hilda Darby-Swan.
Henrietta is the eldest of nine children, seven to this union: Henreitta, George, Louis, Gloria, Bobbie and Barbara (twins) Wayne. From a second marriage Choyce Mae Swan, Lacey Swan, (deceased)
Henrietta completed her formal education in Houston, Texas and continued her education in Seattle, WA at Seattle Community College becoming a certified LPN for the State of Washington.
Henrietta relocated to Seattle, Washington in 1967 to work for Boeing Aerospace with five of her six daughters: Shelia Spenser (William) of Puyallup, WA., Katherine (Kathy) Simmons of Seattle, WA, Vallerie Fisher-Robinson of Seattle, WA, Anita Williams (Jimmy William Sr.) of Seattle, WA and
Theresa Butler (Earious Butler*) of Seattle, WA and Rita Jousha* (Lionel Jousha) * of Houston, TX.
Henrietta met, married the late Mr. Freddie C. Price. Henrietta was a faith member of the Goodwill Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Dr. Norman Mitchell. Henrietta Swan-Price is the proud grandmother of 26 grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren and 5 great great-grandchildren. Henrietta Swan-Price was mother and grandmother to many whom she called “Precious”.
