A Beautiful Life Remembered
Herbert Burnette, was born on Thursday, August 07, 1947 in Pensacola, Florida to Ethel and Hardy Burnett.
Herbert enlisted in the United States Army at 17 years old and served 4 years in the Airborne Division during Vietnam. Herbert was a hard worker and took pride in his work in construction as a mason. When he was not spending time with his family and neighbors he was indulging in his love of sports. Herbert loved all types of sports, if it was on television he was watching it. Herbert also, enjoyed reading western novels and watching classic western movies. He was known to play old school music and kept the jokes rolling. Herbert was a good husband and a giving person who loved the people God placed in his life. His daughter Elena whose love and care in his final years he cherished. He was a precious jewel that was dearly loved and will be forever remembered. Life will not be the same without Chief.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Gladys Burnett, sons Herbert Calvin Burnett, and Herbert Cristian Burnett. One daughter Elena Lindsey. He appreciated being a grandfather to Cristian and Indigo a host of family and friends, and in laws.
