Irvin Grant Sr. was born in Newark, New Jersey on September 11, 1952 to Versie and Howard Grant Sr.
Prophet Irvin Grant left this world September 25, 2025 in Tacoma, Washington. Irvin spent his formative years moving with his parents in the United States military. In 1958-1961 Irvin lived in Heidelberg, Germany. 1961-1962 the family was stationed in Ft. Huachuca, Az. In 1962 Irvin’s family moved to Ft. Lawton in Seattle, WA and eventually moved to Ft. Lewis, WA in 1964 until 1967. Irvin’s family to moved to Salina, Kansas for one year 1967-1968. In 1968 until 1971Irvin’s family was located at Ft. Lewis until his father’s orders again had Irvin move to Germany from 1971-1974. It was in Germany Irvin met his wife and she returned to Washington and began their family.
Irvin always had a duty to serve others and he became a Tacoma police officer. He felt lead to served in a greater way so under the tutelage of the late Dr. Edna Travis he was called to the ministry. Irvin was a gifted prophet and talented speaker. He effectively exhorted the word of God and operated in deliverance ministry. From 1984-1987 Irvin began Jesus Production Deliverance ministry in Denver, CO. He returned to Washington state and began street ministry with a team of young evangelists.
He leaves behind five children Irvin Grant Jr., Phillip Grant, Lydia (Travis) Kendrick, Johnny Grant, Israel Grant. Four siblings Howard Grant Jr., Cassandra Grant Williams, Cheryl Roye and Vivian Grant. He also leaves precious 18 grandchildren behind, as well as, a host of nieces and nephews. Irvin will be remembered for his love of baseball and Coke Cola. He will be forever missed by his family and friends.
