LaCresha
Bogan

BREMERTON, WA
Obituary
Lacresha Renay Bogan, known and loved by many as “Cresha,” was born to Synthina Renay Johnson-Quarles and Curtis Bogan on December 15, 1977, at University Hospital in Seattle, Washington.
She spent the majority of her life in Seattle before relocating to Reno, Nevada, in 2015. She resided there for nine years, working as a floor supervisor for Cascade Designs. She had six children whom she loved dearly: Anthony, Tommy, Tawaun, Tavon, Trevon, and Ty. She was very well-spoken and outgoing. She loved talking to strangers and meeting new people, making friends everywhere she went.
Outside of watching old movies and television shows, she had a hilarious obsession with plucking hair. Family members quickly learned to keep their distance, knowing she would whip those tweezers out in a flash and take every last hair off of their knuckles! Shasta was her fur baby and absolute ride-or-die. The pair shared an inseparable bond. Her pup protected her and ensured she was always safe. Cresha would regularly buy and cook steaks just for her. One could argue that Shasta lived better than most humans.
Mexican food was her favorite. She loved to cook and would fire up the grill in a heartbeat! With a silly, playful spirit, she loved to laugh and joke. Her smile was truly infectious. She was warm-hearted and constantly passed out hugs. Despite her loving spirit, she also had the ability to work a nerve—feisty and never afraid to tell it like it is. She was the kind of person who could have an argument with someone then make up with them 30 seconds later.
Lacresha loved her family, and that love was completely reciprocated. Though her physical presence will be deeply missed, her spirit lives on in our hearts forever. Cresha was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jesse and Jimmy Mae Johnson, Curtis O. Bogan, and Willa B. Bogan; her aunt, Carolyn Johnson; her uncles, Christopher “Cricket” Johnson, Lonnie Johnson, Jesse Johnson Jr., Jeffery Johnson, and Eric Johnson; and her cousin, Jesse Johnson.
Her loving spirit lives on through those she leaves behind, including her parents, Synthina Quarles-Johnson and Curtis Bogan Senior; her six sons, Anthony G., Tommy G., Tawaun G., Tavon G., Trevone G., and Ty G. Mitchell; and her grandchildren, Genesis, Azariah Jimerson, and Chanseya Irving Mitchell. She also leaves her brothers, Robert Kappone Evans, Frank Lee Evans III, Curtis Bogan Jr., and Lavelle Bogan, along with a large network of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
