Lashyra Nicole Clay-Duncan (Nikki) passed away on June 7th, 2026. Nikki was born on December 18th, 1984, in Galveston Texas, by way of her parents Virgil Smith and Regina Clay. Her earliest memories of Texas were a blur as she moved to Washington State by way of her late grandfather Kenneth Love when she was very young. She grew up in Yelm, Washington alongside her few siblings. Growing up Nikki loved to sing and was a cheerleader for a little league football team The Longhorns. From a young age it was apparent that Nikki was very smart! So smart that in the 7th grade her teachers wanted to skip her to the 9th grade based on her test scores. Ultimately, she chose to stay with her graduating class. Following high school, she set out to become a realtor and received her realtor's license. Nikki was a natural and found great success very quickly in the real estate industry. Nikki was a very caring and loving person who loved spending time with her family. She was also a great sister, aunt and friend to those who knew her. She is survived by her grandmother's, father, mother, son, siblings, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by loved ones who welcomed her home. Nikki will be truly missed but never forgotten.
