Marvin was born to Pauline Dawson and Arthur Robinson on May 4, 1958.

Marvin graduated from Wendell Phillip High School in 1976, Chicago Illinois. He moved to Washington State to serve his country at Fort Lewis Army Base, where he was stationed.

To the union of Marvin and Lavonne Robinson was born a daughter    Shautay Tabb and a son Kenneth Robinson. He slipped away at home peacefully on July 27, 2023; surrounded by his good friend Carmen, and his son Kenneth, to join his mother Pauline Dawson and his older brother Richard Crawfard, who proceeded him in death.

He leaves to cherish his memory: His wife, Lavonne, Daughter Shauntay Tabb (Dennis), son Kenneth   Robinson, 6 sisters, Diane Hill, Roberta Marcus,   Sandra Grayson (Ronald), Patricia Wilson (Walder),  Victoria Mahoney (Lawerence), and Felicia Chatman.  3 brothers Michael Chatman, Timothy Chatman (Bridgett) and David Sargent. Grand-children, special mention, Serena Tabb and Great Grand-children, a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, In-Laws and friends, special mention to Lori Fisher and the Douces.
