RONALD DEWAYNE COLEMAN was born on October 19, 1955 in San Antonio, Texas to Arnold and Ruth (Smith) Coleman. While in his teen years he met and later married his high school sweetheart Anita Ward. Ron graduated from Sam Houston High School, Class of 1973. Following graduation he work at a steel mill until joining the military in 1977. He served with the U.S. Army and was one of many troops who were deployed to Saudi Arabia as part of Operation Desert Storm some years later. He began his world travels with the love of his life Anita (Ward) Coleman. After dating for 8 years they went on to marry and spend the next 40 years as one. The pair were a match made in heaven, she was his Queen and he was her King. He loved to entertain and bring family and friends together and she loved to do the same. On any given day of the week you would find him doing what he enjoyed most…shooting pool and making his routine almost daily trips to Costco. He was such a passionate pool player that he was a glorified member of the American Pool Players Association and traveled to Vegas on many occasions to attend championships. Ron also served as a member of Eastside Christian Church where he helped organized Holiday and Back to school events along with many other things for the communities.
