The Life of Veronica Ann Green

Veronica Ann Green was a woman of strength, independence, compassion, and determination. From an early age, she loved music and sports and dreamed of becoming a classroom teacher. As the oldest of four siblings, Veronica helped care for her family and carried that spirit of responsibility and love throughout her adult life. At 18, Veronica embraced her independence and set out to experience the world on her own. Her journey eventually led her to meet Carl Green Sr. while working at Jack in the Box, where Carl was her manager. Their connection grew into love, and at age 26, Veronica and Carl were married. Professionally, Veronica built a successful career as a credit manager for Republic Services. She earned her credit management certification and took great pride in her accomplishments, eventually retiring from the company. Veronica's interests reflected her curiosity and vibrant personality. She enjoyed music from artists including Michael Jackson, Prince, Nat King Cole, Destiny's Child, Sade, Tupac, and many others. She loved celebrity biographies, criminal law shows, and was a devoted fan of dog competitions. Veronica also had an entrepreneurial spirit, running an online home-goods business for three years. She was an avid collector of vintage early-1900s United States postcards, a hobby that reflected her appreciation for history and the stories held within it.
