Willis Cornell Newman 1979 ~ 2022

Willis Cornell Newman was born Friday, June 15, 1979 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Willis Johnson and Easter Newman. He grew in the Northwest and was an avid sports player. He had a special love for football. Willis was a natural born athlete who excelled in football, basketball, baseball and track in Bremerton WA.  Willis loved God. He was baptized and accepted Christ at Mt. Zion Church Summer of 1995 in Bremerton, WA

His smile and laugh will always be remembered by everyone who loved him. He is preceded in death by his Mother Easter Mae Newman and his Father Willis Henry Johnson (Buster).

He is survived by his children Corlise Newman and (Husband) Spencer Sugarbaker, Michigan-Willis Cornell Newman (Junior)- Bremerton WA- Aiden Jackson- Belfair WA.  His siblings. Sisters, Collese and (Husband) Kevin Davis, Laquita Newman, and Brother, Garyin Newman all of Mobile Al., Jackie George, Leslie & Ronatta Newman, Baton Rouge La, Chasity Newman, Liberty Mississippi, Mary Davis and Belitha Roberson from Clinton LA, and Brother, Lionel Collins, WA.
