Zane Uriel Fitch, II

Zane was born in Denton, Texas. He is the first child of Zane and Sharon-Rose Davidson Fitch. Zane started school in Tacoma, Northeast Tacoma elementary school, later on the family moved to Seattle. In Seattle he attended Bryn-Mawr elementary in Lakeridge. His middle school was McKnight located in Renton. Zane was active in church at First A.M.E. Church, YPD, Young Peoples Dept. Usher board.

Later on Zane attended Kennedy High and Renton High school, graduating in 1998 and joined the U.S.Army in 2000. He completed Combat Basic Training at Fort Benning, Georgia. Zane distinguished himself in leadership and accepted the role of Guidon, holding the unit Flag in formation. He  closely drilled with the Commander and First Sargeant after advance training at Fort Lee,Virginia. In Quartermaster School he was assigned to Korea and later Fort Lewis,Washington.

Zane is survived by his daughter Taylur J. Mitchell. Parents Dr.Zane Fitch Sr and Rev.Dr. Sharon Rose Fitch. One brother Winston Victor Fitch,and a host of relatives and friends.

Services will be held Monday, December 20, 2021  at Walker Chapel A.M.E.Church 2400 East Valley Rd.
